East Tennessee State University students will have the opportunity to experience Broadway at an affordable price thanks to a partnership between ETSU Student Life & Enrollment and the ETSU Martin Center for the Arts.
A limited number of 50 discounted student tickets to Shucked will be available for purchase beginning Monday, April 20, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. Tickets will be sold in person at the D.P. Culp Carrier Center and will remain available through May 5, or while supplies last.

Through this initiative, Student Life & Enrollment is subsidizing the cost of tickets, allowing ETSU students to attend the Broadway performance for just $15.
Students may purchase one ticket with a valid ETSU ID. All purchases must be made using ID Bucs.
The performance of Shucked will take place on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at the ETSU Martin Center for the Arts.
Shucked is a Tony Award®–winning musical comedy that tells the story of an unlikely hero, a lovable con man, and an a-maize-ing mission to save a small town. When the corn that sustains Cob County begins to fail, local couple Maizy and Beau set off on a journey beyond their community in search of answers. Featuring standout songs including “Woman of the World,” “Somebody Will,” and “Independently Owned,” the production has become a fan-favorite on Broadway.
Due to the limited number of tickets available, students are encouraged to arrive early on April 20 to secure their ticket.
