The ETSU Martin Center for the Arts is excited to announce its 2026-2027 Broadway Season, presented by Bank of Tennessee, marking the Martin Center’s fifth season of Broadway. The upcoming season brings five acclaimed national touring productions to Johnson City, offering audiences an exciting lineup of music, laughter, unforgettable characters and stories that have captivated audiences around the country.
The 2026–2027 Broadway Season features five spectacular shows including A Beautiful Noise – The Neil Diamond Musical, Waitress, Beetlejuice, and Jersey Boys. Audiences can also look forward a special performance, the 2026 Encore show, Clue.
The season kicks off with A BEAUTIFUL NOISE, sponsored by Carnegie Hotel, coming to the Martin Center December 14–15, 2026. Inspired by the life and music of legendary singer-songwriter Neil Diamond, this uplifting musical celebrates the man behind the music and the songs that have become part of the American soundtrack.
Next up is WAITRESS, sponsored by Frontier Health Foundation, taking the stage February 17–18, 2027. Featuring music and lyrics by Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Sara Bareilles, WAITRESS tells the story of Jenna, a talented pie maker and waitress who dreams of a life beyond her small town. Filled with heart, humor and an unforgettable score, the musical celebrates friendship, courage and the power to change your life.
On March 10–11, 2027, audiences will experience the wonderfully weird world of BEETLEJUICE, sponsored by Food City. Based on Tim Burton’s beloved film, this wildly inventive musical follows Lydia Deetz, a strange and unusual teenager whose life takes an unexpected turn when she encounters a mischievous ghost named Beetlejuice. Packed with outrageous humor, dazzling visuals and a high-energy score, BEETLEJUICE brings its own unique brand of mayhem to the stage.
The fifth Broadway season will close with the Tony Award-winning musical JERSEY BOYS, sponsored by Bravissima!, July 27–28, 2027. The international sensation tells the true story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, from their rise from working-class neighborhoods to the heights of musical stardom. Featuring hit songs including “Sherry,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Walk Like a Man,” “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You” and “Oh, What a Night,” JERSEY BOYS celebrates the music and remarkable story behind one of the most successful groups in pop music history.
In addition to the four Broadway Season Ticket package productions, the Martin Center is excited to present the special 2026 Encore CLUE, sponsored by Tri-Cities Airport, on October 26–27, 2026. Based on the iconic Hasbro board game and the classic 1985 Paramount Pictures film, CLUE brings the beloved mystery to life on stage with murder, mayhem and plenty of laughs. Audiences will follow six mysterious guests as they race to uncover who committed the crime, where it happened and what weapon was used. With a colorful cast of suspects and twists around every corner, CLUE promises a wildly entertaining night at the theater.

Celebrating Five Years of Broadway
Since launching its Broadway series, the ETSU Martin Center has welcomed audiences to experience some of the most celebrated musicals and touring productions on the national stage. The 2026–2027 season marks the fifth year of Broadway at the Martin Center and continues the venue’s commitment to bringing high-quality touring productions to the region.
The 2026–2027 Broadway Season Ticket Package includes one ticket to each of the four Broadway productions: A BEAUTIFUL NOISE, WAITRESS, BEETLEJUICE and JERSEY BOYS. This year, the Martin Center is also excited to offer payment plans for Broadway Season Ticket subscribers, making it easier than ever to enjoy the full season.
Current Broadway Season Ticket Holders can renew their seats starting now through Thursday, September 10, at 2 p.m. New Broadway Season Ticket Packages will be available beginning October 2. Individual show tickets will go on sale at a later date.

About the Martin Center for the Arts: The 93,000 square foot ETSU Martin Center for the Arts, located at 1320 W. State of Franklin Road, Johnson City, features three venues, as well as three rehearsal/meeting rooms. Construction on the center began in early 2018 and was completed in fall 2020. The ETSU Foundation Grand Hall can seat nearly 1,200.
